he's First Smartphone with Down Fingerprint Screen!

Talking about the fingerprint sensor innovation in screen made by Synaptics, biometric security can only work on the OLED screen. Therefore, the sensor will be placed between the glass panels and OLED panels installed in the device.

If a user's finger touches the glass panel, the OLED panel will display the beam. Furthermore, a small-sized chip that has been placed to process the emitted light beam to detect a finger stuck in the glass panel.

Until now, the new Synaptics revealed that fingerprint sensors in this display only on a smartphone Vivo. As for the level of safety is no different from conventional fingerprint scanner that has been attached to a number of smartphones in the market.

On the other hand, the authentication process will run slightly slower than conventional fingerprint scanner. In addition, the fingerprint sensor on the screen is also unable to bring the level of security that is equivalent to a 3D facial scan or Iris.
